Shangi Shi restaurant, a part of Tallinn’s exquisite Bombay Club, is one of the rare Baltic restaurants serving Cantonese in a fine-dining setting. Run by the chef Chee Hwee Tong, the place offers dishes as intriguing as the legendary Pecking duck and “Sizzling Taiwanese Three Cups Chicken”! The wine list, curated by head somm Karoline Reinhold and Bart Dufour, follows the same dazzling wine signature as that of Shang Shi’s sister wine bar Fox Den. It’s literally loaded with the world of fine wine’s classic gems – regions, appelations, and cult growers. When at Bombay Club, make sure to start at Fox Den (plenty of amazing champagnes and whites there), and finish your evening at Shang Shi, which seems like a Cantonese fine-dining heaven!
