And did we mention location? Yes, being in Riga’s Silent centre certainly does not do any harm too! The wine list is very generous offering to sample anything a wine geek or a novice could possibly wish for. It’s deep in terms of vintages, it’s wide in terms of geography, it’s even wider in terms of styles of wines offered. If you haven’t done it yet – pay attention to Riviera’s own portfolio of directly imported gems. From Palmer Champagne house (with vintages back to 1985) to the full range of Foradori, Conterno Fantino (plenty of mature single-vineyard barolos here), Brancaia and other European and even Georgian beauties. Rivera’s suggestion: A beautiful and delicious cocktail offered all year round - Rhubarb Gin Fizz with gin, rhubarb puree and rhubarb sparkling as ingredients! This cocktail has topped the charts for many years!
Our choice: Go over the top with a mighty 1985 Champagne Palmer MAGNUM! We know from experience that this vintage is particularly successful for Ch. Palmer (and especially in magnum, friends!)
