Welcome to Nineteen18, Vilnius premier fine-dining destination, located at Senatorių Pasažas right in the heart of Lithuania’s capital! In fact, we cannot talk about Nineteen18 without praising its location at Senatoriu Pasažas, a historical quarter of Vilnius Old Town, that was renovated with one passion in mind – quality food! Plenty of shopping options here (from local farmers’ meat to cheese and flowers) in addition to Nineteen18’s sister restaurant 14Horses, which you’ll find just next door. Nineteen18’s chef Andrius Kubilius is said to “explore local ingredients to create the menus that talk seasonality, sustainability and deep connection to nature”. In a similar fashion, Nineteen18’s wine list, curated by Simonas Laukaitis, is filled with honest, youngish, and terroir-driven wines finely matched to the chef’s cuisine. It’s a revelation to see that Nineteen18 has avoided the typical trap of many of the fine-dining institutions to employ a wine list containing a never-ending array of super-expensive grand crus. In fact, apart from an occasional Krug Rosé, you won’t find anything above €200 in this superb and compact wine list.

Nineteen18’s suggestion: Let yourself to be surprised at the Chef’s table, and choose the secret treasures of our 16th century wine cellar!

Our choice: Talking about chef’s table … we’d open two geniuses from two distant parts of the world - 2018 William Downie Gippsland Pinot Noir (Victoria Australia) at €89, and 2017 Sebastien Riffault Auksinis Maceration Sancerre at €83 a bottle. As for dessert – rely on Simonas Laukaitis’s suggestion!
